Resume contents are now searchable with a revamped interface

Proprietary file formats like PDF and Microsoft Word  have been tough to work with in the past, so resume keyword searching in webJobs has been limited to searching just profile fields. Now, we’re very excited to announce that the resume contents of text, PDF, and Microsoft Word (.docx files) are fully keyword searchable. This means the webJobs search engine will search through profile fields completed by the job seeker and the contents of the resumes themselves, yielding employer more results!

The entire resume search interface has also been revamped. It now closely resembles our new job search interface and allows employers to refine searches on the fly. Here’s what it looks like:

As you can see, employer will now be able to browse for more specific resumes based on the search results of their original query. webJobs will show them how many resumes match their criteria within specific search refinement options.
