LinkedIn Profile Imports Save Your Users Time

Like our Facebook Connect integration, job seekers will now be able to log into their LinkedIn account and import their data. LinkedIn is a professional network, which makes it a great match for your job board because most users have already have important information, including names, past jobs, and educational history in their profiles.

Just like the Facebook integration, when job seekers go to sign up they’ll be given the option to sign in using their LinkedIn account.

They’ll then authorize webJobs to access their LinkedIn account to pull the necessary information:

We’ll then grab all the information that’s available. Usually, this means we’ll get the name, educational, and employment history of the person. Saving time for your valuable users is a great way to get them to sign up, and we hope this new feature makes that happen.

This feature will be included in webJobs 3.6 which is planned for a 2010 release. Customers who have purchased webJobs within one year of the release date will be eligible for a free upgrade. If you’re a new customer, buy webJobs today and get this and all other 3.6 features before the pricing goes up!
