Not everyone wants to use the gateways we include with webJobs. In previous versions, you would have to rename a file on your server to disable a payment gateway. If you wanted to rename how the gateway appeared to your customers (for example, changing “Credit Card” to “Credit Card Processing Through Authorize.net”) you’d need to change some code too. We’ve made this process easier.
You no longer need to log onto your server at all to make these changes. Instead, this can all be done from the administrative area. Don’t want to use a gateway? Just disable. Want to rename it? Just change a single field in the configuration screen.
We’ve had many of you ask us these questions, so we hope this feature makes you life easier!
This feature will be included in WebScribble webJobs 3.6 which is planned for a 2010 release. Customers who have purchased webJobs within one year of the release date will be eligible for a free upgrade. If you’re a new customer, buy webJobs today and get this and all other 3.6 features before the pricing goes up!
