webJobs can already be (and already is) used for many different countries. You can localize it to your specific region by changing the language, country list, city/state list, etc. One thing we needed to improve on was the date format.
Outside the U.S. many countries use a different date format. While the U.S. uses MM/DD/YYYY for their date formats, those in the UK and other European countries may want to use a DD/MM/YYYY format. Although it could be done before with some code changes, our goal is for you to have to change as little code as possible, so we’ve made it a setting.
In the Date/Time Settings section of the administrative area, you will now be able to specify how you want dates to appear on your web site. Any PHP supported date format will work.
This plugin will be available at the same time as webJobs 3.6 which is planned for a 2010 release. Customers who have purchased webJobs Pro within one year of the release date will be eligible for a free upgrade. If you’re a new customer, buy webJobs today and get this and all other 3.6 features before the pricing goes up!
