In the latest release of webClassifieds, we’re introducing two more great features.
In the signs and flyers plugin, we now include a QR code with each ad. This gets printed when the flyer is made. Your customers can post these around when they’re trying to sell an item. Prospective buyers can use their cell phone to scan in these QR codes, which automatically bring up your site after they’re scanned. This is a great and easy way for people to get to an ad without writing down a long URL. With our Mobile Plugin, the integration is even nicer!
We’ve also added a CAPTCHA feature to all critical forms which can be enabled/disabled in the admin area. This prevents spammers from joining your site using fake information and spamming your members. This feature uses the popular reCAPTCHA service offered by Google.
