In previous versions of webClassifieds, each ad photo was displayed as a thumbnail in a table. Videos showed up as individual video players below the photos. Unfortunately, this took a lot of valuable screen real estate, and we decided to improve this in the latest release.
To solve this problem, we’ve added a sleek new slideshow feature which includes all ad photos and videos. Users can now mouse over thumbnails of the uploaded photo or video, and see the larger image right above. In the case of photos, users can click to see the full size version in a new window. In the case of videos, we embed a video player right in the box so users can watch it easily.
This feature is part of an upgraded ad page that we’ve worked hard on in this release. More details to come soon!
