Ad Settings

The Ad Settings section allows the administrator to control how listings are handled. Each field is described below. After you have finished making changes click the Save button.  
 
Auto-approve ads?  
All listings are automatically approved if this checkbox is checked and do not require the administrator's approval. The ads are shown live on the site instantly.  
 
Allow contact info?  
The contact information section can be displayed or hidden on the details section of the post ad process. The contact information request is and e-mail address and up to 2 phone numbers (work, home, or cell). If you do not want your members to be able to contact one another using methods other than your web site it is recommended that you leave this value unchecked.  
 
Mark required fields  
The required fields in the registration, post ad process, or any form on the frontend can be marked with a special style or character. The value chosen in this field will be used to mark the required fields. For example, the username is required in the registration process. If you choose "asterisk" as the required field marker, the text will show up as Username* in the registration process, signifying to the user that it is a required field.  
 
Edit time limit  
Set the amount of time you want to allow members to edit their ads. For example, you can allow users to only edit ads for 24 hours. This prevents users from abusing billing options by removing items at the last minute.
