Declining a Listing

To decline a listing click the decline icon (). A new page will appear with a form labeled Choose a Decline Reason. There are two fields that can be entered: Predefined and Other. To specify a decline reason you must specify a value for one of these fields. If you enter a value for the Other field the Predefined field will be ignored and the value entered in Other will be used. The fields are described in more detail below. Click the Save button to decline the ad and send the user an e-mail.

Predefined

Choose a value from the dropdown. The values in the dropdown come from the Declined Reasons section. For instructions on how to create new declined reasons, read the Declining a Listing section.

Other

If you want to specify a reason that is not predefined, type your response in the Other field. The reason entered will be sent to the user. Note that the Other field overrides the Predefined field. That is, if a value is entered for Other and a value is selected for Predefined, only the Other value will be sent to the user.
