System Settings

System Settings is used for configuring core system functions such as the database connection, administrative lgoin information, and others. Most of the settings in System Settings' subsection are related to features in the administrative area. Any changes made in System Settings are instantly reflected on the backend and (if applicable) the frontend.  
 
In this section we will discuss how to make changes to the different settings and describe each setting in detail along with its function.  
 
System Settings is accessible from the System Configurator box in the administrative area.

Log into the administrative area

Click the System Settings link in the System Configurator box.

 
 
db_settings


Set your MySQL username, password, and database name.
admin_settings

Configure your administrative username, password, and e-mail address. Control the debug mode for the script.
localization


Set the date/time formats used throughout the site.
system_health


Check if every system setting is properly configured.
license


Set your serial number and license key.
