Configuring

The Forum Plugin allows users to chat with each other in a virtual forum.

Modification

When installed the Forum Plugin adds entries to the plugins section:

Click on Forum,

The following form will display:

       PHPBB Plugin Setting Descriptions

               Path to phpBB installation:

               This is relative path from the root directory of your phpBB install.  If phpBB is installed

               in the root directory no additional changes should be necessary for webDate to integrate

               successfully with phpBB.

               Allow nonpaying members to post to forums:

               If this setting is checked all members will have access to your phpBB forums.  If this is

               unchecked only members who have purchased a subscription will have access to your

               phpBB forums.

Accessing the Forum from the Frontend

       Once logged in, click on 'search', then in the member's menu, click the 'forum' link:

       The forum will then be displayed in the page.  If you are not already logged in, you can log in with your webDate login username and password.
