How do I download the new version?

The new version can be downloaded from the members area section of our web site. To download the new version:

1	Go to http://www.webscribble.com/members/
2	Click the “Click Here to Log In” link
3	Enter your members area login information
4	At the top of the page you will see a red box. Click the link in the red box labeled “Click here if you are trying to download webDate 3.0 Beta”
5	You will be taken to a page listing the new features in webDate 3.0. Click the “CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD” link

I have made a number of changes to my templates. Will those changes be preserved?

The template system has been changed drastically for webDate 3.0. It will make editing templates easier in the future as well as upgrades. Unfortunately, that means any changes you previously made to your template files will need to be re-implemented with webDate 3.0.

Will any of my data be lost when I upgrade?

No. Our upgrade procedure makes some modifications to your database, but all your data, including user accounts and profiles will stay in tact. However, we strongly advise you to make a backup of your database prior to upgrading.
