FAQ Topics

FAQ topics are the categories that you want the common question to be divided into. You can insert new topics using this page.

Creating new topics

Creating topics is very fast and easy with the FAQ management feature. Simply locate the form at the top of the FAQ Topics page that looks like the one below:

To create a new topic enter a value into the Name field. The value should be the new topic, such as General, Billing, Misc., etc. The Show on Site field lets you control whether the change should be made instantly or at a later time. To make the new question appear on the site immediately set this to Yes, otherwise leave the value set to No.

Editing topics

To edit a topic simply find it in the list of topics on the first page, or using the search feature (see the Searching section for more information). Click the Edit button to modify the topic. Modify the form contents in the same way as described in the Creating new topics section above.

Deleting topics

To delete a topic simply located the topic you want to remove and click the corresponding Delete button.

Searching

Find the Search link located at the top of the page. Click the link to search through the topics in your database.

You will be taken to a new page that contains a form similar to the one below:

The Search by field should be left as Topic for this section of FAQ Management. To narrow the search, enter a search string into the Keywords field. When you're done, click Search, and your search results will appear on a new page.
