The Matchfinder Settings page lets you configure how the matchfinder feature operates. The options are documented below in detail.
Matchfinder e-mail notification can be sent out on different intervals to your users. Users can receive e-mails:
Choose the interval on which you would like the e-mails sent to your users.
Matchfinder e-mails a photo along with some basic profile information on the user. However, this feature can sometimes be troublesome if the matchfinder interval (documented above) is set to Instantly. If the notifications are instant and a new member creates a profile that matches another person's profile, a matchfinder e-mail will be sent. The matchfinder e-mail would not contain a photo because the photos can only be added after profile are created. As a result, Web Scribble has implemented this feature for matchfinder.
This field controls how long to delay the matchfinder e-mails (if at all) for new matches. E-mails can be delayed by up to 24 hours, which will give members creating profiles sufficient time to upload a photo.
Matchfinder can send out multiple matches in one e-mail, if multiple matches exist. The administrator can control the maximum number of profile that are sent in a single matchfinder e-mail using this field.
