A WebBox provides a simple, intelligent, and time-saving method to enhance your website design. WebBoxes have been designed to let you display a feature at any given point using a single command. Use WebBoxes to eliminate the need for creating software code every time you want to display a box providing a specific functionality. Simply insert a WebBox variable on the main template of the chosen website page and your need is met. For example, if you want to display your most recent videos on a page, you just need to insert the name of the latest videos web box, {WEBBOX_RECENTV}, at the chosen point on the layout. By default, the webNetwork software places WebBoxes on the index page of your website. Boxes such as Cool New People, Featured Events, Featured Musicians, and Top Rated Videos, among others have a Web box template file at the back end.
The WebBox Management section of the webNetwork software UI enables you to configure your web box settings. Use this section to view and modify the settings for different web boxes.
WebBox Management section is grouped under the Customization segment of the Navigation panel.
