Use Create Event form to post a new event on your website
The page lets you create a new event to be posted on the events home page of your website.
Event Creator
Lets you set the name of the member creating the event.
Members link?
Click on this list to view the members list. Select the name of the creator from this member list.
What?
This section of the form lets you provide information related to the background of the event. It has the following variables:
Event Title field
Lets you create the title for the event.
Event Organizer field
Lets you input the name of the event organizer.
Type
Click any of the three radio buttons; Public, Private, and Invite Only, to indicate the event type.
Category field
Lets you indicate the category of the event.
Brief Description
Detailed description
Use this text box to provide detailed information about the event.
Where?
This section of the form is designed to let you set the information about the venue of an event.
Event venue
Lets you indicate the venue of an event.
Event country
Choose the country in which the event is to be held.
Address
Lets you indicate the event address.
City
Lets you indicate the city where the address falls.
State
Lets you indicate the state in which the city is located.
Postal code
Lets you set the postal code of the address.
When?
This section of the form lets you set the information about the date and time of the event. Use the Date and Time drop down lists to input this information.
