New Window Timer (in seconds)

Lets you set the time interval after which the system checks for new instant messages from buddies.

Away Message Timer (in seconds)

Lets you set the period after which your software will check for new messages when you are away.

Message timer (in seconds)

Lets you set the interval after which the software checks for new IMs when you are online with a buddy.

IM Timeout (in minutes)

Lets you set the interval after which you will be automatically logged out from the Instant Messenger.
