On May 28th, Protech Associates hosted their monthly webinar with special guest, Dawn DiLorenzo, Director of Marketing at Web Scribble. As one of our AMS partners, it was a great opportunity to share the importance of marketing your online career center and explain how integrating with your AMS plays a key role in creating a digital marketing strategy.
Throughout the webinar, Dawn discussed how you can create a marketing strategy that fits with your associations goals. She walked through the planning process, starting with defining your goals, target audience, resources, budget, and success metrics.
Dawn also took a deep dive into digital marketing strategies Web Scribble’s customer success team recommends to our customers as they begin their career center launch process. Some examples are website integration, promoting the career center in email newsletters, social media advertising, digital recruitment guides and much more.
To close out the webinar, Dawn shared a Web Scribble customer success story from National Council for Behavioral Health as they had to quickly transition their printed recruitment guide into a digital recruitment guide, since their annual live event was cancelled due to COVID-19. During this section, Dawn revealed the marketing strategies the National Council’s marketing team used to promote the digital guide while maintaining a positive return on investment. Using social media, newsletters and email marketing, the National Council was able to reach a much larger audience and increased traffic to their online career portal, JOBank. And also find benefits in unexpected ways.
